HGV Class 1 day driver

The Role: HGV Class 1 (CE) Day Driver

• Location: Portsmouth
• Work Type: Hub and Depot deliveries (Chilled & Ambient).
• Shift: Typically 06:00 starts.
• Contract: Ongoing bookings with permanent positions and full-time contracts available.

Pay & Guarantees (PAYE)

• Standard Rate: £19.00 per hour (Monday – Friday).
• Daily Guarantee: Minimum 10 hours pay per shift.
• The Big Perks: Paid breaks included and a £900 per week retainer available.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Ideally 6 months, but New Pass drivers are welcome (subject to assessment/interview).
• Compliance: Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi card. Max 6 points (no DD/DR).
• Skills: Strong geographical knowledge of the South of England and the ability to navigate cross-country diversions when needed.
