HGV Class 1 Days or Nights

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Days and Nights - Widnes

Pay: £18.00 per hour days, £20.00 per hour nights. PAYE.

Fusion People are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a well established transport and container operator based in Widnes. Ongoing work with regular shifts available across days and nights.

The work:

• Curtains: traction only, drop and swap. No handball.
• Containers: deliveries and collections to towns and cities across the UK. Seaforth dock card required for this work.

Shifts:

• Days: starts between 05:00 and 06:00
• Nights: starts between 17:00 and 18:00
• Typically 10 to 12 hours per shift

What you need:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Digi tacho card and in date CPC
• No more than 6 points, no DD, DR, IN or TT endorsements
• Seaforth dock card for container work
• Recent tramping or trunking experience preferred

Good to know:

• Nights out very rare, paid at £25 when needed
• Short induction and yard walk around before your first shift
• Everything paid through PAYE with holiday pay, pension and NI covered
