Hgv Class 1 Driver in Carrington, Trafford

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS NEEDED 

CARRINGTON

DAYS 

Our client is looking for professional HGV class 1 drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods (will need to operate a PPT).  They work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with.  This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries.  Approx 10 hour shifts 

£17.00phr or £19.05phr inc hol pay M-F Days  

£18.00phr or £20.17phr inc hol pay M-F Night  

£19.50phr or £21.85phr inc hol pay Sat  

£20.00phr or £22.41phr inc hol pay Sun / BHol 

Here is what the clients’ criteria is to work here:- 

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work) 

• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence 

• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card 

• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules 

• Health & Safety awareness 

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
