Job Type: Full Time | Ongoing Work | Ad Hoc Shifts Available
Barker Ross is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based in Lutterworth (LE17). We have a range of ongoing full-time positions as well as ad hoc shifts available.
All drivers must successfully complete a driving assessment before starting their first shift.
The Role
We have a variety of work available, including:
Early Morning Trunking
- Start times between 00:00 and 03:00
- RDC to RDC deliveries
- 1 delivery and 1 collection
- Nationwide routes
- No handball
- Pallet deliveries using an electric pallet truck
Day & Afternoon Deliveries
- Start times between 06:30 and 14:30
- RDC deliveries across the UK
- 1 delivery and 1 collection
- Handball involved, including food delivered in baskets and the collection of cages and trolleys
Shift Patterns
The following are examples of the shift patterns available:
- Friday to Monday
- Saturday to Wednesday
- Friday to Tuesday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Thursday to Monday
- 4 on / 4 off
Please note: Drivers must be flexible and available to start 1-2 hours earlier or finish 1-2 hours later than their scheduled shift when required to meet operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No IN10 or DR10 endorsements
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
