Class 1 HGV Driver

Location: Burton Latimer, Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract: Temporary Ongoing (Ad Hoc)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 12-hour shifts | Various shifts available | Morning, Afternoon & Evening starts
Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
• Saturday: £19.00 per hour
• Sunday: £20.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support a busy transport operation based in Burton Latimer.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible ad hoc agency work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering goods to supermarket distribution centres (DCs).
• Completing curtain-sided deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Collecting goods from factories and customer sites, including locations such as Corby, before returning to the main Burton Latimer site.
• Carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with transport legislation and company procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
