Hgv Class 1 Driver

Pay: £15.50 per hour PAYE (£17.37 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)

Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Blackburn.

We have ongoing Monday to Friday work available with early morning starts between 05:00 and 06:00.

Duties include:

• Trunking work
• Trailer swaps
• Collections from other depots
• 5–6 deliveries/collections per shift (depending on route)
• Completing all relevant paperwork
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
