Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of a busy logistics operation for ongoing day shift work based in Croydon.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular work with a well-established transport operation, with consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties Include

• Completing scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Conducting daily vehicle walk-round checks.
• Ensuring loads are secured safely before transport.
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
• Maintaining compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly.
• Working safely and professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements).
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety focused.
• Flexible approach to work.
