🚛 HGV Class 1 Drivers – Days – £40,500

Driving Force Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an exciting Temp-to-Perm opportunity with a well-established retail distribution operation.

🚛 The Role

You will be completing Class 1 store deliveries to major retail customers.

Duties will include:

• Class 1 store deliveries
• Working to timed delivery slots
• Using a pump truck to complete deliveries
• Loading and unloading goods
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
• Liaising with the transport team
• Working in line with Drivers' Hours, WTD and tachograph regulations

Please note: This is a hands-on role, so you must be comfortable with the physical side of store deliveries and using a pump truck.

💰 Pay & Hours

• £40,500 per annum once permanent
• Day shifts
• Start times from approximately 02:00 onwards
• Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift during the agency period
• Minimum 10 hours' pay per shift once permanent
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Regular, ongoing work

✅ Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good timekeeping
• Comfortable working to timed deliveries
• Ability and willingness to use a pump truck

Previous store delivery experience is preferred but not essential.
