Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Castle Donnington. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.
 
Any shift to include a weekend day.
 
This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Delivering to RDCs and stores.
  • Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
  • Vehicle checks
  • Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.
 
Days
 
  • Days: 04:00 – 09:00 starts
  • £18.75 per hour PAYE
  • Over time £28.12ph after 43.75 hours
 
Nights
 
  • Nights: 15:00 – 21:00 starts
  • £21.06per hour PAYE
  • Over time £31.59ph after 8 hours
 
Rates are the same Monday – Sunday.
 
The ideal candidate.
 
  • You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
  • “Can do” attitude
  • No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
  • Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
