HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Leicester
Pay Rate: £16.44 per hour
Shift Pattern: 15:00 – 23:45
4 Days Per Week | Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Leicester for an ongoing PM shift role within the recycling sector.
£1,000 JOINING BONUS AVAILABLE
Receive £500 after successfully completing 6 weeks and a further £500 after successfully completing 12 weeks in the role (terms apply).
The Role
- Completing a trunk run to Edmonton
- Transporting recycling waste using a walking floor trailer
- Returning with a backload from the same site
- Completing daily vehicle checks and following all transport procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable and professional attitude
Walking floor trailer experience is preferred; however, drivers with mainly motorway driving experience will still be considered, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
