Class 1 HGV Driver – General Haulage

Location: Liverpool
Job Type: Monday–Friday | Permanent/Ongoing
Pay: £19.00 per hour (Day Drivers) | £19.50 per hour (Trampers)
Night Out Allowance: £25 per night

We are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for general haulage work, operating curtain-sided vehicles on a Monday–Friday basis.

We can accommodate both day drivers and trampers, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular, consistent work.

The Role

  • Class 1 general haulage work
  • Curtain-sided vehicles
  • Monday–Friday
  • Day driving or tramping available
  • Professional and well-maintained fleet
  • Regular and reliable work
  • National and regional deliveries

Pay & Benefits

  • Day Drivers: £19.00 per hour
  • Trampers: £19.50 per hour
  • Night Out Allowance: £25 per night
  • Monday–Friday working
  • Ongoing work with a consistent schedule

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Minimum 10 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • No major endorsements
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD
  • Reliable and professional approach
  • Curtain-side experience preferred
