HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping)
Location: Widnes, WA8
Salary: £41,000 per annum + 5% performance bonus!
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their team based in Widnes, working on a dedicated contract with Amazon!
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, secure employment with guaranteed work, no manual handling, and an allocated truck fully equipped for tramping.
As our HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting goods safely between Amazon distribution centres and third-party locations across the UK
- Completing vehicle walkaround inspections before and after each journey, reporting any defects or maintenance issues
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and all required transport documentation
- Adhering to all road traffic legislation, drivers' hours regulations and company policies
- Delivering a professional and reliable service at all times, representing the business positively
As our HGV Class 1 Driver, you will have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial HGV driving experience
- Experience working in a tramping role
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of customer service
Assessment days are available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
