Hgv Class 1 Driver in Wetherby, City and Borough of Leeds

Triton Recruitment require an experienced HGV Driver for recycling operations, delivering and collecting containers and materials from customer and supplier sites.
All applicants must have:
- Valid HGV licence
- Experience with 44t Artic and Moffett
- Experience with 26t Rigid and Moffett
- Hook lift and drag RORO experience, including open/enclosed bins and compactor bin installation
- Valid Digital Tachograph and DCPC cards
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DG, DD or IN codes)
Duties will include:
- Safely delivering and collecting containers and materials
- Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle, trailer and container checks
- Safely discharging materials
- Ensuring compliance with tachograph laws, health and safety procedures
- Reporting vehicle defects, breakdowns or damaged containers
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues
- Applicants must be reliable, punctual, able to work unsupervised and flexible with start times.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 5am – 3pm
Friday: 5am – 2pm
