Hgv Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers for our client based at Guyhirn, Cambridgeshire. We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers for our client based at Guyhirn, Cambridgeshire. The role will involve transportation of tinned ambient products with some general haulage from time to time.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough daily vehicle walk around checks reporting any defects
• Ensure all loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
• Carry out deliveries and any collection(s) as instructed by the Transport Team
• Communicate any delays to the Transport Office

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 commercial driving experience
• Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
• Well-presented and professional

Schedule:
Monday - Friday with typical start times of between 3am to 6am. There is some opportunity for weekend work should you want it.

PAYE rates: (Holiday Inclusive)
Monday - Friday: £18.59 p/h
Saturday: £19.59 p/h
Sunday: £20.59 p/h

LTD rates:
Monday - Friday: £20.50 p/h
Saturday: £21.50 p/h
Sunday: £22.50 p/h
