HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

An immediate opening is available for 6 ongoing or temporary-to-permanent Class 1 HGV Night Trunk Drivers in Portsmouth. This role involves depot-to-depot ambient box trailer trunking with no curtainsider work required.
- Location: Portsmouth
- Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday or Sunday to Friday
- Start Times: 17:00 to 20:00
- Pay Rates: £21.00 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £24.00 per hour (Sunday)
- Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 9 hours paid per shift, including paid breaks
- Full time: agency contract also available
Candidate Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Comprehensive knowledge of EU driver hours and working time rules
- Age 25 or older due to fleet insurance restrictions
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on driving licence
