Class 1 HGV Driver | Houghton-le-Spring |

We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a factory shunting role with our client based in Houghton-le-Spring.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business within the automotive sector, offering a long-term assignment with regular hours and competitive rates of pay.

The Role
  • Shunting curtainsider trailers between two local manufacturing sites
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Rotating day and late shifts
  • Minimum 2-month assignment, with the potential to be extended
  • Safe and efficient movement of trailers between sites
  • Straightforward, ongoing work with a structured shift pattern
  • Monday - Friday.
Pay Rate
  • £16.81 - £17.93 per hour
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence held for minimum 1 year.
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous shunting experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
