Job Description:

HGV Class 2 Driver – Full-Time (Temp to Perm)
Location: Papworth Everard
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Papworth Everard. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated driver seeking a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations. This role involves early morning starts and requires a strong commitment to punctuality and customer service.

Working Pattern:

• Monday to Saturday or Monday to Friday (rota basis)
• Start time: 04:00-05:00 AM
• Early afternoon finishes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods efficiently and in good condition
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points

Additional Requirements:

• Must be flexible to drive 7.5t and 3.5t vehicles when required (paid at HGV Class 2 rate)
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
• Strong work ethic and reliability
