Driver Hire Slough, part of the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment network with over 100 offices nationwide, is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to work with a variety of well-established clients across the Iver, Slough (SL) postcode area.

We have opportunities available with companies operating in a range of industries including builders' merchants, pallet distribution, food distribution, general haulage, construction supplies, plant hire and retail deliveries.

The Role

• Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles
• Deliveries and collections throughout London, the Home Counties and surrounding areas
• Between 4-15 deliveries/collections per day depending on the client
• Various start times available, including early mornings and daytime starts
• Monday to Friday work with optional weekend shifts available for some assignments
• Representing both Driver Hire Slough and our clients with excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks

Requirements

To be considered for these roles you must have:

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences
• Good written and spoken English
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
• A minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience (preferred for some roles)
• A 5-year checkable work history

Desirable (Not Essential)

• HIAB Licence
• Multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience driving within London
• Forklift or Moffett experience
