Hgv Class 2 Driver

Location: Evesham
Salary: £14–£15 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Overtime: Time and a half

Minimum 6 months experience required

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join the team and support the day-to-day operations of a busy plant hire depot.

As a Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Delivering and collecting plant and hire equipment from customers and sites
• Carrying out off-hire checks on returned equipment
• Reporting any damage or defects to the relevant team
• Ensuring equipment is handled and transported safely
• Supporting general depot operations when required
• Maintaining a professional and helpful attitude when dealing with customers

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid Class 2 (C) driving licence
• Have a minimum of 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience
• Have a good understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures
• Be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Have a flexible and positive approach to supporting the wider depot team
