Job Overview

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers / Road Surfacing Operatives for a temporary project based in North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for immediate work. No previous road surfacing experience is required – all you need is a valid Class 2 licence and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of a road surfacing crew.
• Following the tar spraying vehicle and applying fine stone/dust to freshly sprayed road surfaces.
• Assisting with general road surfacing and maintenance duties.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Working efficiently as part of an experienced team.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• No previous experience required.

Working Pattern

• 12 days on, 2 days off.
• Working the same rota as the existing team.
• Opportunity to work consistent hours throughout the assignment.
