The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering excellent customer service.

Duties Include:

• Operating Class 2 (Category C) vehicles, including double-deck units
• Completing multi-drop deliveries across scheduled routes
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
• Maintaining accurate delivery and vehicle records
• Planning routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Communicating professionally with customers and transport teams
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required
• Complying with all UK driving regulations, tachograph requirements, and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Good understanding of UK transport legislation and driving regulations
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Clean driving licence preferred
• Flexibility to work varying shifts where required
