Hgv Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (HGV) Dray Driver on behalf of our client based inTW5 9QB. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a structured training and onboarding process, leading to a long-term position for the right candidate. The assessment inductions days will be on the 10th and 11th September - on passing training will commence from 14th September for you.

Role & Responsibilities:

The job itself involves delivering drinks (Kegs and Boxes) to hotels, restaurants, pubs and clubs within the M25, and out to Kent and Essex, using an 18 tonne rigid, anything up to 16 drops a day, but this varies, you will work in a crew with a drivers mate and be expected to play an active role in the unloading process,

They work Monday to Friday 42.5 hours a week on a job and finish basis.

Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM starts

Weekly Pay

Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift.

Requirements for role:

• You should live within a sensible distance from us here at TW5 9QB as you will be starting daily at 6am
• You will have a least 1year’s commercial driving experience with no more than 3 penalty points on your license.
• You will need Hi Viz and Safety Boots to EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC standard,
• You will be required to complete an assessment that includes Maths, English and tacho proficiency tests. You will need to be able to complete daily manual entries on an in-vehicle unit.
