RATES: HGV Class 2 driver

• Days: Standard £20.00 ph 
• Overtime Rate £30.00 ph Applicable 1-40 additional hours / £48.60 ph Applicable +100 additional hours
• Saturday £30.00 ph
• Sunday £40.00 ph

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Refuse and Waste Collections within residential Areas.
• Working in a team of 3 (1 driver, 2 loaders) collecting residential waste & tipping vehicle.
• HGV Class 2 driver must Carry out multi-drop collections.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:

• HGV C licence – New passes welcome
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
• NEWLY QUALIFIED HGV class2 DRIVERS CONSIDERED THAT CAN REVERSE CONFIDENTLY ON A BLIND SIDE.
