Location: Rochester, Kent
Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour – weekly pay PAYE via Pertemps
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start – NO WEEKENDS
Contract: Temp to Perm

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of a large and prestigious company based in Rochester, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Class 2 Driver seeking a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract. The role offers regular weekday work with no weekend requirement, providing a great work-life balance.

HGV Class 2 Driver Key Responsibilities

  • Driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle

  • Completing deliveries safely and efficiently

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks

  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations

HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

  • Digital Tachograph Card

  • Good knowledge of driver regulations

  • Reliable and professional approach to work

This role would suit experienced HGV Drivers, Class 2 Drivers, LGV Drivers, Category C Drivers, and Multi-Drop Drivers looking for a new opportunity in the Rochester, Kent area.
