Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our distribution client in West Swindon, SN5.
  • Temporary to Permanent opportunity
  • Immediate start
  • Monday-Friday, typical start times between 4am and 6am
  • £15.86 per hour 
About the HGV Class 2 Driver job 
  • Safely operate HGV Category C vehicles to deliver items to customers
  • Provide excellent customer service when customer facing
  • Be a key holder to securely open and close some premises
  • Handle cash on some deliveries to settle invoices
  • Deliver products to customers premises by hand and/or by using MHE 
The right HGV Class 2 Driver candidate
  • Current valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Previous experience of delivering customer goods
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and customers
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail when calculating and handling cash
