Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established and growing transport operation based in Crawley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable, long-term role with genuine permanent prospects. The role is primarily general haulage, with the majority of deliveries involving long-distance driving across the UK.

If you enjoy being out on the road rather than completing high-volume multi-drop work, this could be the ideal position.

The Role:

  • Nationwide Class 2 general haulage deliveries
  • Predominantly long-distance driving
  • Collection and delivery of palletised and general freight
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
  • Securing loads safely before departure
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points
  • Working in accordance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
  • Maintaining a clean and professional vehicle

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Driver CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and transport legislation
  • Reliable and professional approach
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to undertake long-distance routes

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts
  • Long-distance work with regular nationwide deliveries
  • No weekend work unless offered as optional overtime
