HGV Class 2 Driver – Days | Multi-Drop

Location: Middlewich, Cheshire
Pay: £15.00 – £16.81 per hour
Start Time: 07:30
Shift: Monday – Friday
Contract: Temp to Perm for the right candidate

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy pallet distribution operation based in Middlewich.

This is a Monday to Friday, 07:30 start role involving multi-drop pallet deliveries to businesses and distribution centres, with collections also forming part of the day's work.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Multi-drop pallet deliveries
• Deliveries to businesses and distribution centres
• Collections from customers and network sites
• Using a tail lift and pump truck to unload pallets
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining PODs
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Securing loads correctly
• Providing professional customer service

The number of drops can vary depending on the route and daily workload.

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 experience
• Multi-drop experience preferred
• Comfortable using a pump truck and tail lift
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional approach to driving and deliveries
