Temporary Assignment

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) on behalf of a well-established business based in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card who is looking for ongoing Monday to Friday work with 7:00am starts.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing delivery paperwork and transport documentation accurately
• Providing a professional service when representing the business
• Complying with all driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations
• Supporting loading and unloading activities where required

The Candidate:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV driving experience
• Maximum of 3 penalty points preferred
• Experience driving manual vehicles
• Good geographical knowledge
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Strong awareness of health and safety and road transport legislation
