We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading drainage contractor working near Winchester, Hampshire. This is a hands-on, varied role offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and a clear route into a permanent position.

The Role You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicles. The role combines HGV driving with hands-on drainage support work across the highways network.

Key Duties
  • Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles (Vacuum Tankers)
  • Work alongside an operative to support drainage clearance and maintenance
  • Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Approx. 50 hours per week
  • Day shifts only: 06:00 – 16:30
Pay
  • £14.11 per hour (PAYE) - Higher hourly rates for candidates with experience.
  • Potential basic £41,000+ basic per year based on typical hours
