Job Title: HGV Class 2 (Category C) Rigid Driver – Medium & Long-Distance Deliveries

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work available)

We are currently seeking experienced and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Rigid Drivers to join our Client based in Droitwich. This role involves medium and long-distance single-drop and multi-drop deliveries using modern Mercedes and DAF rigid vehicles equipped with curtain sides and tail lifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out medium and long-distance deliveries across the UK
• Complete single-drop and multi-drop delivery routes safely and efficiently
• Operate curtain-side rigid vehicles and tail lifts in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure all vehicle checks and transport documentation are completed accurately
• Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company compliance standards
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar HGV Class 2 driving role
• Full and valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable with regular nights out and long-distance work
• Experience operating curtain-side vehicles and tail lifts
• Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
• Committed to safe, efficient, and professional driving standards
