Class 2 Dustcart Driver

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30am – 1:00pm

This is a hands-on Driver/Loader role, so you will be required to assist with loading duties as well as driving the refuse collection vehicle.

Duties include:

• Driving a Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicle
• Completing scheduled refuse and recycling collections
• Assisting loaders with manual collection duties
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Following all site and road safety procedures
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Refuse or waste industry experience is desirable
• Comfortable carrying out manual loading duties
• Reliable with a good attitude towards health and safety

Full-time, Monday to Friday work with consistent early shifts and ongoing opportunities.
