HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to work with a well-established client based in the Lincoln area. This is a temporary position offering regular weekday work, competitive pay, and consistent hours.

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Own transport to travel to and from work
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

Compensation:

• £16.17 per hour flat
• Engagement on PAYE Advanced
• Umbrella pay rates available on request
• Weekly pay every Friday 

Key Details:

• Up to 5 shifts per week (Monday to Friday)
• Start times from 06:00
• Typical shift length of 10–12 hours
• Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift
• Weekly pay every Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and professionally
• Deliver and collect materials as instructed
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete all required paperwork
• Follow site rules and health & safety procedures
• Maintain good communication with the transport office and site personnel
