Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with centres across England, is seeking an HGV Collection/Delivery Driver to join their team in Westbury, Wiltshire. Duties as a HGV Collection / Delivery Driver will include:
  • Collection and delivery of customer vehicles using a 7.5-tonne vehicle transporter
  • Transporting vehicles to various sites within the dealer group
  • Moving vehicles in and out of workshops and trailer yards
  • Assisting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of vehicles during collection and delivery
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and transportation routes across England
Requirements:
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Westbury, Wiltshire
  • Possess a valid Class 1 HGV driving licence with minimal points
  • Previous experience in vehicle collection/delivery or working with vehicles is highly advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Logistically minded with good planning skills
  • Organised, presentable, and able to work well within a team
  • Knowledge of major transport routes across England
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours and shift patterns
