Hgv Driver

We are currently recruiting approximately 10 HGV Drivers to support a major infrastructure project across Argyll & Bute.

Successful candidates will be based from Oban, Inveraray, or Lochgilphead, operating 8-wheel tipper vehicles with sleeper cabs to support ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an 8-wheel tipper vehicle across various project sites.
• Transport materials, aggregates, and equipment as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Comply with all road transport legislation and site health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with site teams to support project operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety checks and transport regulations.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.
