HGV Driver

HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver Required

Our prestigious client based in Hams Hall, Birmigham, are urgently seeking HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Drivers to work on an ongoing basis

As a HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver your duties will include:

• Start times between 0500 and 0700
• Working Monday to Friday
• Driving a new (or nearly new) curtain sided vehicle
• Delivering staircases/ballustrades/hand rails etc to new build sites nationwide
• Average 10 drops per shift
• This role can involve up to 3 x nights out per week paid at £25.00 per night tax free
• Usually there is no handball involved

The ideal HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver will have the following:

• A valid HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E driving licence
• You must have held your HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver for a minimum of 2 years
• A minimum of 6 months experience of driving a HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver within this period
• No major convictions on your licence

For the successful HGV1 / LGV1 / ClassOne / Class 1 / C+E Driver you can expect the following:

• An hourly rate of between £17.00ph (Internal PAYE plus holiday pay) to £22.41 per hour (via our FCSA approved umbrella company on a PAYE basis)
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing work on offer
• Local branch based staff to offer support
