HGV Driver - New Pass Welcome

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team - Now offering rolled up rates!!

Roles:

• HGV Class 2 - Days
• HGV Class 2 - Twilights
• HGV Class 2 - Nights
• HGV Class 1 - Days
• HGV Class 1 - Twilights
• HGV Class 1 - Nights

Hours:

• Class 1/2 Days - Across Sunday to Saturday - 07:00am - 10:00am
• Class 1/2 Twilights - Across Sunday to Saturday - 14:00pm - 16:00pm
• Class 1/2 Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (Sunday and Fridays required) - 20:00pm -03:00am starts

*Please note drivers must be available to work weekends within their availability*

Pay Rate:

• Class 2 Days - £15.11 per hour PAYE
• Rolled up: £16.93
• Class 2 Twilights - £16.02 PAYE
• Rolled up: £17.95
• Class 2 Nights - £17.23 per hour PAYE
• Rolled up: £19.31

• Class 1 Days - £17.77 per hour PAYE
• Rolled up: £19.91
• Class 1 Twilights - £18.09 PAYE
• Rolled up: £20.27
• Class 1 Nights - £19.13 per hour PAYE
• Rolled up: £21.44

Location: Southampton, SO16

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

. Experience on the relevant vehicle required

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
