HGV Driver (Nights) in Widnes, Cheshire

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established logistics business based in Widnes - new passes welcome.

Our client transports processed wood to power plants across the north of England using walking floor trailers.

What's on offer?

• Full-time position - ongoing work 12 months a year
• Night shift opportunity - shifts averaging 10-15 hours
• Paid at £20.17 to £22.41 per hour - dependent on day of week

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Transporting processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence - new pass drivers welcome
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
