Hgv Driver

Our client is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support ongoing general haulage operations across local and national routes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well organised transport operation offering flexible working patterns, clean work and competitive rates of pay.

Objectives                                                                                                                       

•  Completing local and national haulage deliveries safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintaining compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
•  Representing the business professionally when delivering to customers

Responsibilities & Requirements                                                                                   

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Carry out deliveries and collections across planned routes
• Ensure all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Follow all transport legislation and company procedures                                               
• Full UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC & Digi card  
• Maximum six penalty points (No DR, DD or IN codes)
