The Role

We are looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers to join our transport team.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking to join a well-established business where safety, reliability and customer service are at the heart of what we do.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and in line with company procedures and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Complete all required delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service when dealing with customers and delivery locations.
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and working time regulations.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and presentation at all times.
• Report any incidents, delays or issues to the Transport Team promptly.

About You

We are looking for drivers who are:

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) and/or Class 2 (C) licence.
• Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have previous professional driving experience.
• Have a good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Safety-conscious, reliable and responsible.
• Professional and customer-focused.
• Able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider transport operation when required.

Desirable

• ADR qualification – desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a transport, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience with [Moffett / HIAB / curtainsider / other relevant equipment, if applicable].

Don't have ADR? That's not a problem. We are happy to consider candidates without ADR, so long as you meet the essential requirements for the role.
