HGV Fitter / HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic - Sidcup
£16-£21 per hour DOE | Monday-Friday | 45 hours paid per week | Overtime
Are you a HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Fitter looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with excellent benefits and overtime opportunities?
Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter / HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle repair operation in Sidcup.
With £16-£21 per hour depending on experience, 45 paid hours per week, overtime and a strong benefits package, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position with a reputable employer.
The Role
Working in a modern workshop, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of a varied range of commercial vehicles and equipment.
You could be working on:
- HGVs / LGVs / Heavy Goods Vehicles
- Heavy commercial vehicles
- Vans / LCVs
- Trailers
- Buses / coaches
- Motorhomes
- Specialist commercial vehicles
- Structural chassis repairs
- Mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs
- Servicing and maintaining HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out inspections and safety checks
- Repairing and maintaining trailers and specialist vehicles
- Structural and chassis repair work
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
Experience working with HGVs, LGVs, commercial vehicles, heavy vehicles, trailers, buses, coaches, vans, chassis repairs, vehicle maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs or fleet maintenance would be highly relevant.
