Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for your next opportunity?
We're recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport and logistics business, maintaining a large fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers in a supportive workshop environment.
The Role
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
- Completing safety inspections and diagnosing mechanical faults.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring roadworthiness.
- Driving vehicles to tests when required.
- Completing maintenance records and ensuring workshop safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and strong diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers.
- A valid HGV driving licence is essential.
Working Hours
- Early shift: 06:00-14:30.
- Late shift: 12:00-20:30.
- Every second Saturday: 07:00-12:00.
