Hgv Mechanic

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client’s team, responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a busy HGV fleet.

Key Responsibilities - 

• Service, repair and maintain HGVs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Attend breakdowns at various locations when required.
• Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer and legal requirements.
• Maintain workshop standards, parts stock and service records.
• Assist with plant equipment repairs where required.

Personal Requirements - 

• Experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Class 1 & 2 licence advantageous.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable working under pressure and responding to breakdowns.
