The Opportunity
An established, family-run automotive business with over 30 years of success is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its busy multi-franchise workshop in Leicestershire.
Working within a modern, well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of cars and light commercial vehicles. The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
·Completing routine vehicle inspections and health checks.
·Performing scheduled maintenance including brakes, clutches, cambelts and suspension repairs.
·Preparing vehicles to manufacturer and MOT standards.
·Completing accurate job cards and repair reports.
·Maintaining a high standard of workmanship while working efficiently to allocated repair times.
·Supporting and mentoring apprentice technicians where appropriate.
·Delivering excellent customer service through clear communication and professional workmanship.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or LCV Technician.
·Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or be time served.
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
·Experience working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
·A full UK Driving Licence.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
·Excellent communication and organisational skills.
·A positive attitude with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Desirable
·MOT Tester qualification (Class 1, 2, 4, 5 or 7) or willingness to undertake training.
·Category C or C+E driving licence.
·Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians.

What's on Offer?
·£46,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
·Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
·Saturday mornings on a rota basis (7:30am - 1:00pm).
