Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a stable, well-paid role with excellent earning potential? We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join our growing team in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HGV Technician seeking a consistent weekday schedule and long-term career progression.
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30am – 17:30pm
- 1 hour unpaid lunch
- 45-hour working week
- Up to £23.00 per hour basic rate (equivalent to £53,910 annually)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (up to £34.50 per hour)
- OTE up to £62,790 based on 5 hours overtime per week
- Stable, full-time permanent position
- Strong work-life balance with no weekend shifts
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete inspections, MOT preparation, and compliance checks
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards
- Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team
- Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar workshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence advantageous)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
