  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 9:30pm

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a leading commercial fleet company based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to secure a permanent role with strong earning potential, structured hours, and no weekend working.
This HGV Technician position offers a stable 40-hour week, competitive hourly pay, and overtime paid at time and a half.

The Role:As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out inspections and MOT preparation
  • Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company safety standards
  • Completing all job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
  • Supporting workshop efficiency and uptime
Requirements:To be considered for this HGV Technician role, you will need:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Good knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dealbreaker (Essential Requirement): Minimum Class 2 HGV Licence – applications without this licence cannot be considered.
