  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 9:30pm
  • 40-hour week
  • Overtime available paid at 1.5x standard rate

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial fleet company for a skilled HGV Technician to join their established workshop team in Thetford.
This is a permanent late-shift position offering excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and no weekend working, giving you the opportunity to achieve a great work-life balance while developing your career as an HGV Technician.

HGV Technician Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete MOT preparation and inspections
  • Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
  • Accurately complete job cards and service records
  • Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
HGV Technician Requirements
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Experience working on commercial vehicles and HGVs
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, team-focused and quality-driven approach
Essential Requirement
  • Minimum Class 2 HGV Licence – applications without this licence cannot be considered.
