We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician to join a professional PSV fleet maintenance operation. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic skills and a safety-focused approach to vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Identify vehicle faults and specify correct repair methods and parts
- Carry out vehicle road testing to confirm defects or successful repairs
- Ensure full compliance with all HSE legislation and company policies
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required
Requirements of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Previous experience working on HGV and/or PSV fleets
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Good understanding of safety and compliance standards
- Reliable, methodical, and able to work independently
