Up to £50,169.60 basic salary + overtime
Monday–Friday | 40 Hours | £24.12 per hour + Overtime
7:00am–4:30pm / 8:00am–5:30pm / 9:00am–6:30pm
Weekday & Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x
Sunday & Bank Holiday overtime paid at 2.0x
 
Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic looking for a Monday–Friday role working on a varied fleet?
 
The role of HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of a varied municipal fleet, including:
  • Mercedes
  • Renault
  • DAF
  • Volvo
  • Dennis
You'll be carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, helping keep the fleet safe, reliable and operational.
 
What we're looking for from the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
  • Level 3 qualification preferred – NVQ / C&G / IMI
  • Level 2 qualified technicians will also be considered
  • Previous experience working on HGVs / commercial vehicles
  • Class 1 or Class 2 licence required
  • IRTEC qualification desirable
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team
