HGV Technician Vacancy – Amersham

Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle workshop in Amersham, is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team.

Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections in line with industry standards
  • Ensure all work complies with legal and company requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repairs
  • Provide technical advice and excellent customer service
  • Support team with technical issues as needed
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills specific to heavy vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid HGV licence is desirable but not essential
