Our client, a well-established commercial vehicle specialist based in Hull, East Yorkshire, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team. Duties:
  • Inspect and repair a variety of commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation
  • Perform fault diagnosis using specialist, market-leading diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct general mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Support offsite work including breakdown attendances
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring vehicles are kept on the road
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
  • Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a HGV Technician
  • MOT licence (desirable)
  • Ability to work to a high standard with attention to detail
  • Strong team-working skills and a positive attitude
  • Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK valid driving licence
